About Word Madness

Word Madness is a mobile word puzzle game that challenges players to swipe across a spinning letter wheel to form words. Each level presents a set of letters arranged in a circular pattern, and your goal is to connect adjacent letters to spell out every valid word hidden in the grid. Once you find all the required words, you complete the crossword-style grid and advance to the next level.

The main game contains 6,000 levels organized into escalating difficulty tiers. Early levels use small letter pools of three or four letters and require only a handful of short words. Mid-game levels introduce five and six-letter pools with seven to eleven answers. Advanced levels beyond 3,000 feature seven or more letters and twelve or more answers, some of which rely on unusual words that even experienced players may not recognize immediately.

Beyond the main campaign, Word Madness offers VIP exclusive levels for premium subscribers. These packs are separate from the numbered sequence and feature larger wheels with more complex intersections. VIP levels are generally harder than same-numbered regular levels and unlock bonus coins that carry over to the main game.

The daily puzzle mode delivers a fresh letter wheel every day. Unlike the main levels, daily puzzles change for each player session, so the letter arrangement you see may differ from what your friend sees. If you are stuck on a daily puzzle, use the letter search on this site to find your exact layout.

Word Madness also includes a Wordle-style mode that presents a new five-letter mystery word each day. You get six guesses and receive color-coded feedback on each attempt. Past answers are archived here and sorted by date so you can check any previous day.

This site covers Word Madness answers in five language versions: English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Every answer is verified against the actual game data and updated whenever new content is released. For strategy help, visit the tips and strategies section.

How do you play Word Madness?

Word Madness is played by swiping through a letter wheel to form words that fill a crossword grid - find every grid word and the level clears.

1

Swipe the wheel

Drag through adjacent letters to spell a word. Lift your finger to submit it.

2

Fill the grid

Every accepted grid word drops into the crossword layout and reveals crossings for the rest.

3

Clear the level

Find all required words to finish. Extra dictionary words pay out bonus coins.

Each level has one spine word - usually the longest one - that anchors the crossword skeleton. Solve it first and every crossing letter becomes a visible clue for the shorter branches. The game never requires words in a fixed order, so start with whatever combination stands out, submit it, and let the grid reveal its shape. When you are close to finishing but cannot find the last word, the bonus coins you collected from extra submissions can unlock a single-letter hint.

How do you solve Word Madness levels faster?

The fastest solvers start with the longest word, use bonus words for coin income, and shuffle the wheel before guessing blindly.

Spine word first

The longest answer forms the grid's backbone. Solve it first and every crossing letter becomes a clue for the shorter words.

Bank bonus words

Words the dictionary accepts but the grid does not still pay coins. Sweep obvious 3-letter combos early and hints fund themselves.

Shuffle on a stall

A new letter arrangement breaks pattern blindness. If nothing appears in ten seconds, shuffle before you spend a hint.

Learn the repeat suffixes

ING, ER and ED endings recur constantly in longer pools. Test them against your consonants before hunting rare words.

All 13 strategies are in the full tips and strategy guide.
